"I would highly recommend using 1 Van 1 Man Removals for moving house.
We moved on a bank holiday Monday and the service was excellent! Dale and the team called before they arrived on time, each member of the team introduced themselves and began to start moving everything from the flat. We were on the fourth floor of a set of flats which has no lift and without any complaints and constant smiles on their faces they moved all of our furniture with no complaints. They also took apart our bed and reassembled this at the new house with no fuss. They were very careful with our possessions and ensured that nothing was broken, everything was packed in order and wrapped in transit blankets. When we got to the new house the same level of care was taken unpacking the vehicle and placing all of the furniture in the correct rooms. I could go on and on with how wonderful their service really was but I will wrap it up by saying that it was great customer service, a fantastic professional and friendly team, and a very very very stress free move!''

By far the unsurpassed moving experience we have had
The booking was easy enough and the packing service exceptional along with the removal service. Basically the whole move was extremely professional from the quotation through to the installation of the furniture and belongings in the new property. Upon arriving the next day the apartment was packed and I noted to my partner that it felt like a work of art, the boxes were so beautifully arranged and structured. The move was a challenging one with a lot of equipment and cases being moved into a four storey home, the chaps were so mannerly, well thought-out, approachable and particularly careful with all our assets during the move. We cannot thank them enough, they delivered a vast extent of reassurance throughout the demanding experience of a move.

Theses guys are great. Efficient, professional and friendly service that I really couldn't fault. They moved me from a two bed 1st floor flat to a two bed terrace in York. The flat had very steep stairs and the new house had quite a few steps/levels in the garden to get to the property, but they just got on with the job with no complaints. They even helped a delivery guy who arrived with my washing machine, but refused to navigate the garden steps.....thank you so much. Very reasonably priced, would highly recommend.

Was looking at different moving companies in York and decided to hire 1 Van 1 Man for my move a few months ago. I made the best choice. From my previous hire of other moving company, promises are sometime never kept. This is not the case with this company though. So, I called them for an estimate, they appeared very genuine and gave me a sensible quotation. The movers did arrive on time on moving day. All three lads skilled and know what they were doing which gave me piece of mind. I have a lot of furniture’s, but they were speedy at packing everything. They took care, carrying big pieces of my furniture out of my house without damage to walls or the items and secured them into the vans. All my gear was being taken from York to Scotland, so I was quite worried how they were going to cope with the journey. Appreciatively, all my household items travelled securely, and the transfer of all my items was made on the scheduled date. Fantastic move from the team at 1 van 1 man removals
